I have been a follower of Swami Veda for 22 years, and value his lectures as irreplaceable. That timeless value is significant when you think of what they will mean to my family in future years. The content of the lectures is magnificent, and always provides instant help to each of us as we seek direction in our lives. As Dr. Usharbudh Arya in his previous life at the University of Minnesota, Swami Veda Bharati was perhaps the best traditional Indian philosopher and Sanskrit scholar in the West. (I was his student in the University.) The breadth of his learning and the depth of his wisdom, intuition and insight have amazed me for 37 years, since I was 19. I learned more about the Christianity I grew up with from him than I ever did in the church. His lectures on spirituality and spiritual psychology inform aspects of every religious tradition. His standing in recent days as a worldwide leader in inter-religious dialogue is the fruition of this lifelong growth in wisdom. That such a resource can be made so easily available now is an everyday miracle for all of us and should help people to focus and maintain their spiritual practice for many years to come, no matter in which tradition that practice is done.

Swami Veda Bharati traveled the world ceaselessly for 60 years imparting his teaching to all through his indefatigable efforts, undeterred by such matters as health, personal considerations, etc. This new format will make possible the continuation of his presence through future generations in a way that could only have been dreamed of a few years ago, and we must indeed be grateful to those who have made it possible and given his selfless service the permanence and availability it so much deserves. They have served the eternal dharma well by placing the work of its great interpreter in a form which will allow those who are yet to come to experience the inspiration which has guided and inspired us!

This is a wonderful service that is being offered to Swami Veda and all of his students. I hope that this will inspire the senior teachers to develop courses around Swamiji's lectures to assist in the absorption of these valuable lessons. These courses could be structured as E-courses to provide this timeless knowledge to the larger yoga community via the internet.

What a great idea! I am so excited to have this available. The first time I heard Swami Veda speak he was talking about "Parenting for Peace". Three years later I am still listening and trying to integrate the words into life. The lecture left a permanent impression.

The Tradition's Grace vibrates through Swami Veda's words and lectures. What a wonderful blessing to have these lectures so easily available. Swami Veda is a bright being who makes complex ideas simple and attainable for all. His life is a testament to the power of love and selfless service.  

It is a rare privilege to listen to an ancient rishi (sage) from the comfort of your own timeline. I have listened to many teachers yet there are few who can claim to have learned Sanskrit as their first language. Few of these are still comprehensible to Westerners in the 21st century. Swami Veda stands out as one such individual.

I met Swami Veda some years ago, and within a few minutes of our conversation, I realized I was standing in the presence of someone special. Our short meeting has led to an unfolding within me which I had been working on for over thirty years.

I have had the Blessing of Swami Veda in my life since 1969. What he teaches comes from a Living Stream passed down not just by books but from personal experience and initiations earned through arduous practices and great love for his Guru. Having had the opportunity to make some arrangements for retreats for him, I know that people like Georg Feuerstein, David Frawley, and other experts in the field of yoga hold him in the highest regard. He is a very rare and gifted teacher. 

If any human being comes close to being almost elemental, it is Dr. Usharbudh Arya, later, Swami Veda Bharati. The range of knowledge, his depth of sharing are as familiar as they are out of this world. I wish every child and parent in every land and every realm could have a wisp of him.

Franklin Delano Roosevelt brought a whole nation together during World War II in his radio broadcasts of Fireside Chats. When Swami Veda talks, you feel like you are all sitting in the same room together, even if the lecture was delivered 30 years ago in a faraway place. Strangers become kin, are as close as five fingers on the same hand.

When he said a phrase in Sanskrit, it was immediate. It felt like he was planting seeds of real stars in us. A dead language was ---then and there--- very much alive in its cognate cousins and multitudinous layers of nuances.

But that is to make him far too fantasmagoric. He is always and only about our very human pursuits in trans-temporal context. Still, the way he talks about the practicalities of what it means to be a person in the fullest sense have a crystalline hum.
